Working in Hamilton

Hamilton’s housing stock is unusually varied for a single city. The lower city holds a great deal of pre-war and century housing, where settlement cracks, sticking doors and original plaster and trim are simply part of the territory. Above the escarpment, the Mountain is largely post-war and newer subdivision building, where the work skews towards finishing, mounting and upgrades rather than structural repair. Practically, that variety is the reason we cover both trades.
